HRM Around the World: A Comparative Analysis Presentation

Objective: To compare and contrast HRM practices of a country with the United States and discuss the relevant employment laws related to the practices.

Instructions:

Choose a county to compare and contrast its HRM practices with that of the United States of America.

Choose an HRM functional area that you want to focus on for the comparison $($e$.$g$.$ recruitment and selection, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, CSR$,$ DEI, etc.$)$

Research the HRM practices and relevant employment laws in each country as it relates to your chosen HRM functional area.

Create a $5-7$ minute narrated Kaltura PowerPoint presentation with a video $($of you presenting$)$ that addresses the following elements of the assignment:

Introduction: Provide an overview of the country for the comparative analysis. Broadly speaking, compare and contrast the role and practices of HR between your chosen country and the United States.

Comparison and Contrast of HRM Functional Area: Comparing and contrasting the HRM practices and relevant employment laws in each country, highlighting the similarities and differences between the two countries.

A reflection on what you have learned from the comparison, and how these differences might affect the way organizations operate in each country.
