Step one - Browse through the Kindergarten and First Grade Math, Language Arts, Art and Music Standards to familiarize yourself with the types of skills that are expected at each grade level.

Step Two: Select 2-3 standards from ONE category that you would like to "teach". You won't actually be teaching this lesson, just explaining how you would teach it.
