Question Set 1: Proportion of Netflix Subscribers

Research question: Are half of all Netflix subscribers sharing accounts with people outside their household?

The following questions are related to the proportion of Netflix subscribers in the U.S. In a random sample of 1,925 Netflix subscribers, 828 indicated that they share their password with someone outside of their household.

Question 1:

Question 1 Part A: Use StatKey to construct a 95% bootstrap confidence interval using the percentile method to estimate the proportion of Netflix subscribers who share their password. You can enter the sample data into StatKey using the "Edit Data" button. Remember to take at least 5,000 resamples. Find the confidence interval if we had a sample where 8,280 out of 19,250 Netflix subscribers in the US shared their password with someone outside of their household. Use StatKey to construct a 95% confidence interval using the percentile method with these new data (x=8,289, n=19,250). Take at least 5,000 resamples.
