The Project Champion has asked you to develop a plan for the Post-Project Review. For the purposes of this assignment, you may assume you served as the Project Manager for the Denver International Airport (DIA) project if you need to supplement your planning with relevant examples.

The key learning outcome here is demonstrating your ability to plan a Post-Project Review meeting, as well as demonstrating how you would distribute the lessons learned for your organization.

Your memorandum contains three major sections:

Section 1: Planning the Post-Project Review

• Who should be invited?
• Who is leading the review (facilitator)?
• What organizational or cultural considerations might you include?
• What is a brief overview of the project under review?
• What would you include on the agenda (i.e., develop a schedule. Utilize the Hillson text as a reference).
• What is the intent of your Post-Project Review (e.g., examine success and failings, traces causes, and effects, recommendations for change).

Section 2: Conducting the Post-Project Review (must include the risk management post-project review as a part of the overall Post-Project Review).

• Rely on Chapter 12 of Hillson as the primary resource for Section 2; however, you may supplement with additional information.

Section 3: Distribution and Implementation of Lessons Learned

• How will you distribute the Post-Project Review results?
• What information will you include in the distribution?
• Who do you include in the distribution. (Hint: Who are the DIA project stakeholders you identified in an earlier assignment)?
