I agree with the statement because by using the metric system the doctors will know the exact amount to prescribe to their patients. The same concept would be the same for a surgeon that is about to perform a surgery. By using the metric system, the surgeon will know how and where to cut.

Yes I do believe the US should convert to the metric system because the rest of the world is using it. It will also make communicating ideas and thoughts more easily. The metric system will be easier since it is based on powers of ten.

Some possible consequences for failing to master metric system conversion skills could lead to medication errors, dangerous mistakes and confusions.
