I am currently working on this project with a group and we are all confused. The information in BOLD is the important information and the information that needs to be included in the proposal. As a team, we chose to write an email on team building as our idea (hence it being in bold). THE QUESTION IS IN BOLD... I've uploaded an image only as an example. We appreciate any help that is given.

Unit III Project:

Proposal and Business Presentation

This unit project builds on the research about professionalism you have already done. You will also use your knowledge and skill with document design to build visual aids in a presentation.

Scenario:

You have been working alongside your boss to help establish guidelines for professionalism in the virtual working environment. Youve already sent a memo to the entire staff to help establish guidelines for virtual meetings, but you (and fellow employees) believe that the company could do more to help its employees be successful in their career goals. After all, successful employees make for a more successful business overall.

Select one of the following ideas:

  • Dress for Success
  • (Team Building)
  • Solving People Problems at Work
  • Making Every Message Count
  • Harness the Power of Your Computer
  • Communication Strategies
  • Contemporary Business Etiquette

Your proposal should not cover the entire subject, but you should pick a specific enough topic that you could prepare a clear, specific, and useful training video that is no more than 8 minutes long.

Your Tasks:

FIRST:

Prepare a Proposal to deliver to your boss (Ms. Johnson) about creating a training video that could be used to help employees better reach their professional potential, either in the virtual OR in-person work environment.

This is an internal, unsolicited proposal, so you will have to build a convincing argument using the research youve done so far that you should be allowed to undertake this project. You should submit the proposal as either a memo (no more than 2 pages) or an email (no more than 6 paragraphs) to your boss, Ms. Johnson.

You will need to address the following issues:

  • What is the problem that exists? Why is this training video necessary right now?
  • How will this training video help the business?
  • Why are you (and your team members) the best choice for undertaking this project? What authority do you have?
  • How will the video be researched, created, and deployed?

You should follow the Informal Proposal Sections in your textbook and include an Introduction; Background, Problem, and Purpose; Proposal, Plan, and Schedule; Staffing; Conclusion and Authorization. Do not include a section for the budget, as this should not require additional funding.

**If you use Figure 10.2 in the textbook as examples, be aware that it is an external, unsolicited letter proposal. Its a slightly different situation, so do not mimic wording or formatting that doesnt make sense for this specific situation.

Quintile Research is pleased to propose a plan to help you become even more successful by learning what patients expect of your practice, so that you can improve your services. Background and Goals We know that you have been incorporating a total quality management system in your practice. Although you have every reason to believe that your patients are pleased with your services, you may want to give them an opportunity to discuss what they like and possibly don't like about your office. Specifically, your purposes are to survey your patients to (a) determine the level of their satisfaction. (b) elicit their suggestions for improvement, (c) learn more about how they discovered you, and (d) compare your preferred and standard patients. Proposed Plan On the basis of our experience in conducting many local and national customer satisfaction surveys, Quintile proposes the following plan: Survey. We will develop a short but thorough questionnaire probing the data you desire. Although the survey instru ent will include both open-ended and close-ended questions, it will concentrate on the latter. Close-ended questions enable respondents to answer easily; they also facilitate systematic data analysis. The questionnaire will gauge patients' views of courtesy, professionalism, billing accuracy, friendliness, and waiting time. After you approve it, the questionnaire will be sent to a carefully selected sample of 300 patients whom you have separated into groupings of preferred and standard. Analysis. Survey data will be analyzed by demographic segments, such as patient type, age, and gender. Using state-of-the art statistical tools, our team of seasoned experts will study (a) satisfaction levels, (b) the reasons for satis- faction or dissatisfaction, and (c) the responses of your preferred compared to standard patients. Report. You will receive a final report with the key findings clearly spelled out. Dr. Canto. Our expert staff will draw conclusions based on the results. The report will include tables summarizing all responses, divided into preferred and standard clients.
