I am doing a project for my class and I was given the role of an attorney representing a client who was denied California disability benefits because her therapist was not licensed according to the EDD department and I need to come up with arguments why my client should not be denied benefits. If I said that my client had no idea that her therapist was licensed be a good argument. I am going up against a classmate who is representing an EDD supervisor. I also wanted to say something in the line that if the hospital, which is well know in the area; such as let's say a big hospital like County General [just making the name up], what arguments can I make that would help me win my case?
