I am doing a project in Statistics. It is a correlation and regression project.
- "select at least three variables that you believe have a linear relationship and specify which variable is dependent and which are independent."
I chose to use numbers from the NBA and I chose top 15 point producing players, pulled 3 different stats for each player.
1) Total points scored (averaged)
2) Field Goal Attempts (averaged)
3) Field Goals Made (averaged)
I am not sure which one would be the dependent variable and which are the independent? Or if I should be using a different set of numbers completely to fulfill the requirements needed for this project.
