I am doing a research project for a class and had to write a data collection paragraph. I would like to add more but am not sure what to add.

Data Collection

In this study I am seeking to find an answer to what improves when fluency progress monitoring is happening actively. The research questions I will be researching through the data collection is How do students react to progress monitoring? Does self-efficacy in reading happen? How does comprehension change? In this study I will be having a group size of 13 students consisting of 6 boys and 7 girls, two of which have reading IEPs. The instruments needed to answer this research question are both quantitative and qualitative data. I will be using fluency readings from Journeys 4^th grade fluency workbook to conduct cold and warm reads with my students. I will allow them to track their progress weekly. A cold and warm fluency reading with comprehension questions will be used every other week. Observation notes will be taken. After six weeks of progress monitoring students weekly I will interview 5 of the 13 students. Each with varying abilities.
