I am given two processors. One has a 1 nanosecond clock cycle and executes one instruction every two clocks. The other has a 2 nanosecond clock cycle and executes one instruction per clock. Using the formula (and using any value for instruction count):
(instruction count * CPI) / clock rate
which processor is faster. My calculations show them at the same speed but I'm not sure if thats right.
Thanks.
