- I have to identify whether the quantitative data is discrete or continuous.

5. An altimeter reports an altitude of 23,542 feet. My answer- continuous

6. In a group of 100 students interviewed, 72 correctly recognized the bacteria P. My answer- discrete

7. After completing quarterly training, a volleyball player weighed 13.35 pounds less than when he started training. My answer continuous

- I have to determine for the variable what its scale or measurement level is. (Nominal, ordinal, interval or ratio)

11. The nicotine content (in mg) of a cigarette. My answer- Interval

14. The total number of bacteria in a culture. My answer- interval, but I think is ratio
