I am trying to do some statistics and I get so confused I need to determine if there is sufficient evidence to conclude the average amount of deaths is less than or equal to 6000 in the United States and territories at the 0.10 level of significance.I figured out these using excel but I don't know what else to do: Total - 182,094. Mean = 3.570, Minimum = 306, Maximum - 17,680. Standard deviation = 3628.68, Median = 2,485

  1. Determine if there is sufficient evidence to conclude the average amount of deaths is below is less than or equal to 6000 in the United States and territories at the 0.10 level of significance.
  2. Clearly state a null and alternative hypothesis
  3. Give the value of the test statistic
  4. Report the P-Value
  5. Clearly state your conclusion (Reject the Null or Fail to Reject the Null)
  6. Explain what your conclusion means in context of the data.
