I believe that my strongest management function is planning. The reason I believe planning is one of my strengths is because I am a material planner at my current job. As a material planner for a big corporation, it is my job to attend project meetings, take notes on expected product launch dates, and to attain to a timeline. What this means for me is that I need to fully understand the scope of the project, dissect it, and separate the different tasks that need to be completed in order to achieve timeline adherence. This also includes my ability to call out any major risks to the project timeline and action items needed to achieve the goal at hand, and to plan accordingly to minimize obsolescence and ensuring we keep project costs down from a material perspective. reply
