I created a scatterplot concerning house prices, square footage etc, blah blah blah. Y is in dollars and X is in square feet. I find the slope it is in square feet (X). I find the intercept (Y) it is in dollars, right? Now, I have a slope of 92.719 sq ft and an intercept of 61238.67. In dollars that is $61,239.00? If no, then how do I express it as dollars? Sorry. I am sure this is easy peasey for you, but I am at my wits end with Statistics...thanks for your help.
