I didn't realize what had happened to the question before. I really need help with figuring out the Excel formula for Ram Angular Velocity and Ram Angular Acceleration. Can you please help me. Thank you
Part 2 is a continuation of Part 1. The angular displacement of the ram was recorded in an Excel spreadsheet and, afterward, plotted as a function of the angle of rotation of the crank. You will be adding to your Excel spreadsheet data from part 1 to include more information about the mechanism, use the example Excel spreadsheet below as a template.
Now, knowing that the crank rotates clockwise at a constant angular speed omega (�) of 1750 rpm, complete the following:
- Convert the angular speed � from rpm to degree/s and display it above the table as shown.
- Insert a "Crank Time t(s)" column between the "Ram Angle �3 (deg)" and "Ram Angular Displacement �3 - �3min (deg)" columns as shown.
- Insert a "Data Point Index" column before the "Crank Angle �1 (deg)" column and fill it with index values ranging from one to the total number of angle values (data points) as shown.
- Plot the displacement in the function of time curve, including title and axes labels, and save it in your report document.
- The time increment Δt, constant in this case, is the time difference between two consecutive positions of the crank. Display its value in a cell above the table as shown.
- Add a "Ram angular Velocity �3 (deg/s)" column after "Ram Angular Displacement" column in the spreadsheet as shown. This column will receive the data computed in the next step.
- Using Richardson numerical differentiation method, compute the angular velocity �3 of the ram from the "Ram Angular Displacement" and "Crank Time" columns.
- Plot the velocity curve, including title and axes labels, and save it in your report document.
- Insert a "Ram Angular Acceleration" column after the "Ram Angular Velocity" column in the spreadsheet as shown. This column will receive the data computed in the next step.
- Using Richardson numerical differentiation method, compute the angular acceleration �3 of the ram from the "Ram Angular Velocity" and "Crank Time" columns.
