I do not agree there are innate differences between men and women. I believe we are unique individuals that learn and grow with what we are exposed to (nature vs nurture). We learn societal norms from our homes and communities (nurture). These experiences are the first exposure to gender roles and cultural expectations. We, as young children, see the roles of the man and the woman in the house and community, then as we grow older, apply those learned behaviors because that is what we know. An example of this; is the woman's responsibilities within the house are varied across the world; not to mention what type of job the woman is allowed to hold. Our nature, predisposes us to biological differences, physical traits, I believe our behavior is learned through those close to us. We choose to model the behavior we experience (good, bad, or ugly); or we understand the behaviors we experience are NOT the appropriate behaviors (learn what to do or what NOT to do).
Jacinda Ardern is open, energetic and direct with her messaging. Her actions align with her morals and ethics. She left her Mormon church; due to this moral conflict. She publicly supported same sex rights and made an appearance in their Pride Parade. Jacinda is quick to action leading with compassion, making new legislation 10 days after the terrorist attack. She also shows her constituents her personality, which allows them to relate to her as a person. We learned a lot about leadership the last couple weeks, not one style is better than the others. Jacinda models a lot of positive leadership styles which her constituents value.
