I do not believe that at the current rate we are going that we could maintain low birth rates and death rates. The birth rates alone have so many outside factors that have the numbers raising. One being the abortion issues in our own country. whether you agree or disagree with the premise itself statistically it would slow birthrates but ut is a subject that is heavily debated and restricted in areas. And with the rate of pregnancies that are not planned these days that is an option at slowing. Death rates are also a problem at times for one being illnesses that hit in waves like our recent run in with covid that sped death rates up and the debates on whether vaccines were effective or not left many unprotected. this number is also hit with many outside factors to futher increase these number. Everything from mass shootings, drug overdoses, natural disasters and many other events. I personally ride the fence on helping developing nations.
