Question: - I do not follow this. Things in question are starred. (2^4 = 16 possibilities) (2^8 = 256) (2^16 = 65,536) (2^32 = 4,294,967,296) -
- I do not follow this. Things in question are starred.
(2^4 = 16 possibilities) (2^8 = 256) (2^16 = 65,536) (2^32 = 4,294,967,296)
- Sorry.. A 4-bit data word has only a 16-bit possibilty range. I'm trying to figure where does the 4096 (4K) / 8192 (8K) come from. I understand that 16-bits = 65536 and 32-bits = 4,294,967,296 (so no stars). I'm trying to follow where the numbers with stars came from. Thanks!
- Picking a specific example.. the first column. I'm seeing it as 4-bits addressing 4096/8192 memory locations. Am I reading the chart wrong?
