I do not have any experience with cryptocurrency and am hesitant to invest in them because of my lack of knowledge. I do not personally invest in the stock market either since my risk tolerance is very, very low.$$ After reviewing the module resources, I found that there are some very interesting characteristics of cryptocurrency that could make it an appealing choice for investors.$$ Being decentralized and available $24/7$ are big draws for investors, along with the tracking capabilities of the blockchain definitely add some reliability and transparency to cryptocurrency. There are some downsides to cryptocurrency. One thing that still makes me uneasy is that it is a new technology that is very reliant on the internet. It also requires a lot of power to run all the computers involved in the enterprise which is a drain on the planet and our resources.

I think that blockchain technology and cryptocurrency is here to stay, whether we are for or against it$.$ Hopefully it will affect the economy is a positive way.$$ By giving control to $$everyone$$ who uses the blockchain technology, end users can now be in more control of their money, their personal records, and even gaining copyright protection for artists.$$ Blockchain and cryptocurrency show significant promise for transforming the economy, offering potential benefits such as increased efficiency, financial inclusion, and new investment opportunities. However, it's crucial to address the challenges associated with volatility, regulatory uncertainty, environmental concerns, cybersecurity risks, and scalability to ensure that these technologies can be fully realized.
