I don't get how to "normalize" this problem. See question below.

We want to store the following data about our mattress store's revenue (sales) activity:

item number

item description

item cost

item commission %

customer number

customer name

customer address

sales order number

date of sale

quantity sold

price per unit

extended amount

salesperson number

salesperson name

total amount of sale

commission $$ on sale

Each inventory item pays a different commission %, and the items are generic, not specific or unique.Some customers buy several mattresses at a time, and some come back to buy more.Also, price is "negotiable" between the salesperson and the customer.Normalize these data items.
