Capturing and Monitoring Temperature Measurements from a Thermocouple

Objectives

Create a state machine type of VI to acquire, record, and monitor temperature measurements

from a temperature sensor that is acquired from the DAQ board. Please include a selector that

will determine if data is acquired in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees, converting Fahrenheit degrees

to Celsius.

The current temperature and a running average of the data must always be displayed and graphed

during operation.

There will be $3$ thresholds:

a$.$ Below $25C$ it does not record any data and will warn that the temperature is "too low"

b$.$ at $25C$ it starts recording the data to a file

c$.$ at $60C$ it will create an event log$,$ will generate a visual and audio alarm, and the visual

alarm will say $($Too Hot$)$

d$.$ at $75C$ will create a different alarm $($visual and audio$)($will say "System overload" and

will stop the program
