I have a DNA sequence that is a character vector of only ACTG's. EX. (AGTTTCATCGTTT) but a lot longer... Using regex code, (specificly gsub, grepl, grep or sub) i need to extract an exact sequence within the longer sequence. EX. I want only the TTTCATC from the above example. I am given the bp position of the start and finish of the sequence. EX. need to extract from bp 3 to 9.
