I have been fortunate enough to work with two different ERP systems. A few years ago, I worked for a company that utilized Oracle for HR purposes only. It was a great to have one tool for finding all things related to HR activities. They used a different ERP system for the financial and fleet management side called e-Emphasys from VitalEdge. This ERP system is geared more towards equipment dealers and was a great system for that company. Before this system, they were using SAP and decided to switch because there were some limitations with SAP. For me, Oracle seems to have more ability to service single needs such as HR only or inventory control. However, I do prefer the SAP website. It seems to have more pictures of what the software actually looks like. Seeing examples of what the software looks like allows me to have a visual of what the product will look like. Specifications and customer testimonials are good, but I prefer to see the product and how it works. There is sufficient information to know what each company is offering, but I prefer the SAP website
