Question: I have been given data: Months (Jan - Dec) for each year, Years (2014 - 2018), Ads sold by month, Cases ordered by month. I

I have been given data: Months (Jan - Dec) for each year, Years (2014 - 2018), Ads sold by month, Cases ordered by month. I need to perform a regression analysis and use that to provide a forecast for the next year of cases that should be ordered. I know how to perform the regression analysis and forecast in excel. I do not know which data to make my dummy variables. I am assuming cases would be my dependent variable and others would be my independent variables? Would I have 11 dummy variables for month and use January as my base?
