Following figures show some UART packets that were sent from one device to the other. The packet configuration in this case is 811 , i.e. 8 Data Bits, 1 Parity Bit and 1 Stop bit. The parity should be even. i.e. the parity bit should be 1 if the number of 1 s in the data bits are odd, otherwise the parity bit will be 0 .
