The 2017 B-PH1 data for advancement.xlsx is from a preliminary phase 1 hybrid trial grown in two locations with two replications in a randomized complete block design.The trial is the first look at new hybrid combinations and is designed to eliminate 40-60% of the lines being tested.

Use statistical analysis software of your choice, complete the analysis of the data in the file and make decisions on what lines you will keep and which will be eliminated from further consideration.At a minimum, must eliminate at least 40% of the experimental.At a maximum, you may eliminate up to 60% of the experimental lines.Explain how you completed your analysis and why you eliminated the lines that you did.

These files contains analyzed hybrid yield trial data evaluating 50 grain sorghum hybrid combinations that have a specialty grain characteristic (which is listed in Column Y of the excel file and color coordinated as well).For reference, in the black, tannin category the check hybrid is Onyx.In the red, tannin category, the check hybrid is NK8830.In the popping category, RIL065 is the check cultivar.There are no check hybrids for yellow or yellow tannin and the white hybrids are checks for the whole trial with regard to general productivity and agronomic phenotype.
