I have to respond to 4 of my other classmates posts. I am fine doing my own work but when it comes to responding I feel like I stumble over my own words. Can you please help give me and idea on what to write back to each person please

1. Hello Class,

This course has been absolutely beneficial in helping me focus my current and future research projects. The Big 6 Research Model is a great way to focus in especially when trying to distill a large amount of information in a broad topic into a well defined research paper with pertinent information. For myself, the most challenging part of the process was locating sources. After our lesson on evaluating source validity, I found that many sources that I would have used in the past can cause my work to come under question. Evaluating source bias, finding the appropriate scope of sources and the sheer amount of information available both through scholarly and media sources was a lot to refine.

Both through my educational and professional careers I am certain my digital literacy will be challenged. I am grateful that I have taken this course and learned through the coursework and with all my peers in this class. My current career, which is related to marketing, requires me to take governmental, media and personal information to inform people within a population. My ability to evaluate sources of information and highlight the need to know information is a must. I will continue to refine my abilities by making the Big 6 model a part of all my research and decision making processes. Civility, not just in the workplace and in politics but in all aspects of life is important because the lack of civility limits the sharing of information and peoples ability to express their opinions.

2.Part 1: Reflection

Good evening, the BigModel6 was informative and truly interesting to intake. The process has given me a deeper intellect of structural organization. Understanding the process of this in-depth technique help improve my technical skills and overall research skills. I learned to synthesize and paraphrase legible sources. What step was most challenging and how did I overcome that challenge? The step that was most challenging for me was proper source citation.

There are so many ways to cite a source and tends to be confusing to me at times. Proper citation is important because your integrity and reputation is placed on the forefront. Plagiarism or not giving credit where it is due is compromising and immoral. It is very important to not make this mistake it can cause financial, career, and academic decline. I overcame this challenge by slowing down and examining each citation format.

Part 2: Connecting Career

How will I use information and digital literacy in my workplace and career? When I am doing research, I will fact check the sites and sources to ensure they are not bias something I usually did not do. I will properly brainstorm, organize, and evaluate the authenticity of all information online or not. How will you sustain your new knowledge in order to support your career goals? I am a non-commissioned officer in the military, and I supervise other Sergeants as myself. I Intend to show them the methods I have learned so they will have correct intel on administrative paperwork. Why is civility important in the military and politics? Civility is important because it involves treating others with dignity and respect and acting with regard to others' feelings. Proper civility entices a positive and comfortable work environment. The moral of work will increase. The workplace will be less violent and hostile.

3.I extensively enjoyed this class, as did everyone with whom I had discussions to enhance the entire class environment. Personally, I had no major concerns or issues with this class. The gradual progression of the assignments, quizzes, and essays retained a sense of interaction with the course. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this class was the forum discussions and being more focused on the topic that not only we as students are studying but also creates a more open dialogue among students to gain a sense of connection and improvement for the class as a whole. I believe that more discussions should be tailored to this aspect in order to elicit better responses. One of the most significant accomplishments for me in this class was putting the bibliography together and finally piecing it all together with the final report, and ensuring that when you actually put into the report and bibliography coincided with the final paper. I've had many classes where I've completed many bibliographies, but this one actually tied into the final project and brought everything full circle. Finally, for the sake of the class's future and future students, I would recommend them to discover how to conduct proper research in order to discover the information for which their topic will be covered.

4. Hey class,

This class was both enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. I'm a very weak writer and it was very difficult for me to put my thoughts together. I started to enjoy the class when I found my groove. I think an important thing to keep in mind is time management. The classes are by the week, but it's better to start your writing early and just proofread your content and make corrections before you submit them on the suspense date. This class can really help me in the future to progress my writing skills. I know I will have to do a lot of writing and what I've learned in this class will really come in handy. My greatest struggles like I said earlier was putting my thoughts together. I have the hardest time putting what I'm trying to say into writing. What helped me out was doing an outline and just using that to really align what I was trying to say with what I had on paper. I did surprise myself when I received positive feedback from my peers when I had them proofread my work. That made me feel good about my writing skills at that moment. I would advise whom ever will decide to take this class to really do their research. I learned that the library was a very easy and effective tool when it came to looking for references. Overall, the class was very well put together and the content to me was very thought through and useful. Thank you all
