I made this Scope Statement last week, I need to develop a WBS for the project. Below is my scope statement adn below that is the example my professor gives for the WBS.

Project Justification:

The purpose of this project is to reduce operating costs and increase data efficiency within the cooperation by migrating all unclassified systems to a cloud-computing provider. There are 20 servers that host operational software which consists of order processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, finance, purchasing, sales, company web site, and product support. The systems are located at the headquarters site. This project has a budget of $600,000 with $200,000 the initial money going towards internal staffing and the rest going to outside sources. The project is expected to be completed in 8 months.

Summary of Project Deliverables

Project management-related deliverables: business case, charter, team contract, scope statement, WBS, schedule, cost baseline, status reports, final project presentation, final project report, lessons-learned report, and any other documents required to manage the project.

Product-related deliverables: research reports, design documents, software code, hardware, etc.
