Number one waing writing programs can help with grammar, brainstor reserch within your topic. Second is using tools on word documents like Microsoft or Pages for Apple. Have ling wery helpful to do writings in sections$-$meaning write structure and design. I tend to utilize alot of the programs including the internet when researching. It's als then go back to writing, i find this helpful.
