I need a response to the below:

Reflection - the students also should include a paragraph in the initial response in their own words reflecting on specifically what they learned from the assignment and how they think they could apply what they learned in the workplace or in everyday life. (UMGC, 2022b).

I have gained several valuable insights about the time value of money after this week's course readings and exercises. I learned how compounded interest is working against me, if I stick to the amortization schedule for my mortgage; when I used the FV function for my mortgage in Excel, I saw that would have paid more than 200% of the sale price of my home--if I had not learned how to check my amortization schedule with this week's lessons in the time value of money. I am also paying attention to how management fees nibble away at my retirement accounts; so, I am considering managing my own investments after this class ends. I also see why my employer is gracious enough to provide a cost of living increase sometimes, even though it is actually a tiny analgesic for the bite of inflation.
