i need a short response to this discussion post: When growing up learning about difference was about noticing at an early age the different styles or choices when making or doing something. Like Sensoy and DiAngelo explained in the text socialization into dominant ideologies begins at a young age through families, media, education, and other systems of influence, it helps shape how to view difference. For the term class as child and growing up I rarely viewed it as an indifference towards society only viewed it as a simple word defining a room setting. Now for gender growing up I knew of only traditional gender roles until a certain age but my understanding of gender was not pushed it was learned from the surrounding society. For sexual identity and ability were two topics/terms that were later on understood its self growing up til now having a understanding learning process for it. Any other social identity group I feel is significant would be religion as a catholic at an early age i knew of this only religion but as I grew I started leaning about other religions I began to be exposed to religious diversity because of what I would see in places or communities. When my family talk about people that are in different social identity groups their words and actions would match but were not to indifferent. What I learned from the media and peer groups about social identity groups that were different from my own is that some media would push towards that they want to persuade
