Background Your company has been contacted by the Irvington Public Works Department concerning a sewer emergency that has occurred. An existing 15" VCP sanitary sewer that is approximately 13 feet below the existing road surface has collapsed, causing sewage to flow back in to the homes of residents. This should include all safety equipment including barricades, barrels, signs and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the project. 3. How will you detour traffic around the work area?
