Holmberg, a seasoned political economist, fights against political inequality and advocates for policies that are sustainable and minimize the terrible effects of corporate dominance. They provided us an article in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and argue that we have more clear examples of corporate concentrated power. As the pandemic wasn't good for the average American but made many corporations see peak earnings. Race disparities have also gone down for the worse. The use of the Great Depression as an example was used as an emotional appeal to the reader. In school we are taught this was the most saddening time in American history.
