Assignment: The persuasive speech will identify a particular problem of concern to the speaker and offer a solution to that problem. The format for this third speech will also follow the general format of explaining a problem, identifying its causes or effects, and offering a particular solution to it. You will advocate a specific course of action (change in behavior, change in policy, etc.) and seek to change the audience's attitudes, beliefs, or values or refute opposing views on the topic.

Speech Length: 6-8 minutes.

Sources: The speech must cite at least five different sources during the presentation, and these must also be listed in the reference attached to your preparation outline.
