I need help designing a small rotating platform (about in diameter) that rotates (clockwise and counterclockwise) in exactly 90 degree increments. Specifically, I need it to point in the direction of four switches when one of those switches are flipped on. The platform should never rotate more than 180 degrees (in order to ensure minimum rotation and maximum efficiency). I am trying to accomplish this without the use of microcontrollers like the Arduino. Please provide a simple wiring schematic and a brief explanation.
