I need help in Creating the Executive Summary for an imaginary confectionary company, The Sweet Password.
Background into this imaginary confectionery sweets company: The Sweet Password
The company was started in September 2019. The company is named The Sweet Password, considering the specialty of the geographical location. To start with, we opened a well-constructed retail outlet at the factory premises. Within three months, we were in the takeoff stage and the business was considerably well. We have created our own savor to the candies. Even though there were days when no one visited our outlet, slowly a few people came to visit us. People were skeptical about a new candy company. But as soon as they tasted our candy, they became vocal about our product. Soon, everyone started to visit our shop. This made our outlet very popular across the region. People started to flock to the shop. With the help of the popularity we received, it was not difficult to find new investors to fund the company. With the help of new investors, we doubled the production capacity and recruited more employees. We also opened three outlets in different locations. It was then COVID-19 was breaking out and we had to shut-down the sales outlets. After a few days, we reopened and stopped the direct sales. Instead, we provided a home delivery service. The sales staff were used to delivering the orders. In the month of April, we reached a stage of profitability, thanks to the home delivery mechanism. While we were earlier taking orders on phone, from August we launched a mobile app for ordering chocolates.
In the first three months, the sales were of 500-700 dollars a day. The sales volume doubled within 4-5 months. The sales volume came to near zero as the COVID break out. Later we pitched the sales through delivery, but initially, it was as low as 500-700 dollars. Soon delivery took the pace and now we have an average sale of $ 12000 a day from three of our outlets. We have $ 4,00,000 revenue. The net income growth is $ 1500.
We had conducted a feasibility study across the regions and found out that the people are ready to try a new candy brand if it can offer something new. We found that the outlets need to be in areas where rich people live. This will allow us to place the product as a premium product.
Currently, we have a CEO, general manager, sales manager (who now looks after delivery), production manager, marketing manager, branch heads, and other employees. We are looking to double the sales through home delivery. For this, we have to open three more outlets in different regions. We will be recruiting branch heads and other employees soon.
The financial status of The Sweet Password in a great stage. We have recorded steady growth throughout the year, except the initial days of COVID-19. Our annual revenue reached $ 4,00,000. One more positive thing is, we don't have any debts.
