I need help in responding to a discussion post about correlation. Can you please provide a very simple response to the post below:

In my work environment, from what I remember we would most certainly have correlation variables that involve poverty and the correlation between the number of people requesting aid. For example after we where hit with the recession, the number of GAIN recipients, those requesting free refrigerators and or household appliances rose. Also I personally worked for Medi-cal but when it became Obama Care the volume correlation between the worked that had to be done and the amount of people now on a insurance plan rose considerably. These are examples of correlation numbers. Managerial implications include an increase on reports that had to be maintained along with a sudden rise of managerial "excitement" which included deputies and supervisors constantly harassing there employees on those same reports and or requests that get out of hand.
