The application should havesome UI element that can take data such as city or town $(1)$ and include the ability to capture the temperature unit's preference $($F$/$C$-2).$ Clicking enter$(3)$ will trigger two thingthe API call and make the spinner visible $(4).$

You may use one of the APIs provided or your own to retrieve the requested cities current weather and $3-5$ forecast. I believe that $3$ API options provide long term forecasts for free. Remember when making these API call, you are mindful of the header requirements.

The first section resets when the API resolves. After reset, the spinner is hidden $(4),$ and the display section is shown $(6)$ using some animation transition.
