Furthermore, learning the skills that properly allow one to take control and, turn that problem into an opportunity is what takes true skill. Problems can may obstacles that are in the way of productivity seem much greater when there are no tools to target the problem effectively. That is where the IDEAL method can be applied to find solutions and solve problems. I have run into many issues such as ill-communication within the team. Improper communication can be detrimental for the success and productivity of an operation. The first step is to identify why miscommunication is an issue. Describe to the team how miscommunication has affected the operation and express how inventing solutions to improve communication can ultimately benefit the majority of the team. Hear from the team and listen to different suggestions in regards to improving communication. Start applying agreed upon methods and ensure that these solutions are copacetic. Always be a student and never shy away from suggestions to increase the effectiveness of an operation.
2. Kimberly said? I'm currently experiencing a problem while volunteering at a youth dance facility. I'm trying to find ways to keep the youth engaged in our group exercises, though various activities, such as making games out of tough exercises to have them enjoying the push I give them. The past exercises aren't working, we had a lot girls to quit due to stating the program was to hard. I'm going to use the IDEAL model to solve this issue. The problem solving method involves getting a better understanding of the group's current state of mind and focus and figure out why so many girls are deciding to quit rather than to push themselves in the activities that I've planned for them. In addition to talking to the youth, I can also assess the activities that have been offered through other methods they may enjoy. Through this process I've learned that working with the youth requires understand and a change in course than how I grew up.
