The Unified Process (UP), Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, Lean Software Development, Kanban Development, and Feature Driven Development (FDD) are all considered Agile development methodologies. One of the most difficult tasks confronting every Chief Information Office or software developer is the selection of the appropriate system development methodology or in some cases methodologies.
