I need help understanding Hayes PROCESS regression output data.
The Dependent variable is Shame, the Independent variable is religious commitment, and W variable is Sexual Activity.
I ran the regression analysis for model 1 with a sample size of 171.
These were my results:
Model Summary: R = .166, R-sq = .028, MSE = .409, F = 1.578, df1 = 3.000, df2 = 167.000, p = .197
Model:
Constant: coeff = 2.505, se = .194, t = 12.912, p = .000, LLCI = 2.124 ULCI = 2.891
IV/Religious Commitment: coeff = .229, se = .249, t = .922, p = .358, LLCI = -.262 ULCI = .720
Sexual Activity: coeff = .077 se = .109, t = .704, p = .482, LLCI = -.139 ULCI = .293
Int_1: coeff = -.067, se = .134, t = -.500, p = .618, LLCI = -.331 ULCI = .198
Tests of highest order unconditional interactions: R2-chng = .001, F = .250, df1 = 1.000, df2 = 167.000, p = .618
I don't really understand what the results are telling me about the variables and their relationship or interactions or effect on one another. Can you explain what this means to mean in terms of the independent variable of religious commitment and the dependent variable of shame and the W variable of sexual activity?
