I need help with python regular express. I am extracting citation keys from Latex article, here is the regular express I used:

r"(?

You can see the result, if in a single line there exist multiple \cite, then it will ignore the middle part, only extract the first { to the last }. I want to extract only the citation ID of each citation that appeared. Also, if a single \cite{} contains multiple keys, it will ignore the comma but extract all syntax. Please help me with the regular expression notation.

Thanks!
