The first student will open every single locker. The second student will change every second locker (2, 4, 6, etc.) If the locker Is currently open, he will close it. If the locker is currently closed, he will open The third student will change every third locker (3, 6, 9, etc.) The fourth student will change all lockers that are multiples of four. And so on, and so on.. This will continue until all 1000 students have gone through. By the time the last student has finished, how many lockers will be open? Which lockers will they be?
