why do you feel that there needs to be environmental laws in this Country? As we know, meeting tough environmental standards can be costly for businesses and consumers. Meeting government imposed standards for clean air and clean water can stifle innovation and research and development. It seems that it is the best interest of businesses and consumers to protect the environment. Not doing so can lead to disastrous consequences.
