I need to proof the thesis "Human with lower BMI have in general lower Heart Rate". I have a excel file with 82 respondents. With the Shapiro-Wilk Test, I have received the result that my BMI is non normal distribution (p=.004) and my Heartrate is normal distribution (p = .054).

Which Statistic method should I use? Should I use Correlation or Linear Regression.
