I think the biggest difference between a group and a team is whether or not there is a goal or mission to be achieved. A group of people can be completely separate and random. This group of people supports individuality rather than joint efforts. Whereas a team is more about we than it is I. A team works together to achieve goals and complete missions through delegation, communication, and collaboration, as well as a number of other skills. A situation where I worked in a team more recently is related to work. We were working together to prepare for a courts-martial. We had different objectives but had the same goal in mind, which was to make sure that we were completely prepared for everything and that no stone was left unturned. We worked smoothly and efficiently as this is what we were used to. We were successful as there were no hiccups, and every aspect was accounted for. This week I learned that communication and listening to eachother is paramount. You don't always have to be the leader or the one with the right answer.
