Question:
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, in-person classes were suspended beginning from around the start of March. which means no classes were held and students had to learn all alone which was not convenient at all and was difficult. Unfortunately, this university did not take any initiative to start live online classes like other universities did in which case students can learn their topics more conveniently and if they had any questions, they could just ask. Going thru some limited pdfs from the course's website was not enough. As a result, i was having problems learning calculus after the shutdown. Moreover, by the end of March, I had a very high fever and i was sick for about a week. I took all the exams including other courses laying in my bed. I managed to take the other courses using my phone where i just typed in, but for calculus, I had to do the Maths, which was not totally possible.
1) Classes suspended as a result of learning calculus all alone staying home was near impossible as i never took calculus in my life and i had to take it because its a requirement for computer science studies
2) There was no online class system and calculus is not a subject where its possible to learn all alone without interacting with a teacher
3) Due to covid 19 and for staying home for a prolonged period of time I got very sick which was also a big difficulty to learn calculus
Due to having such big issues I had to find another way of doing it.
I request for some sympathy and just give a zero for the midterms and not take any further initiatives. I assure you such mistakes won't happen any further
As this year was different and difficult due to virus issues, I request for some sympathy and just give a zero for the midterms and not take any further initiatives. I assure you such mistakes won't happen any further.
Please edit the following and write in a more polite way as i am going to send it to the dean and add as much more you can to that in a realistic way.
