Using a questionnaire, this quantitative correlational study will collect data from owners, CEOs, and CFOs of REITs. The data will be analyzed in alignment with the purpose of this study: to analyze the relationship between working capital and profitability in REITs in the Southeastern portion of the United States. Pearsons correlation will be used to examine the relationship between the variables. Before conducting the analysis, the data will be screened for missing data and outliers and evaluated for test assumption, linearity, normality, and homoscedasticity. The data will be in numeric form and Likert-type scale responses. The analysis of this data will be completed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26. Data analysis denotes the application of reasoning to understand the collected data (Walliman, 2017). Some essential processes during data analysis include editing, classification, and tabulation. In the present study, quantitative data will be collected with the help of a questionnaire instrument. The researcher will perform descriptive and inferential statistics on the data.

Descriptive analysis will be adopted to describe the data's basic features. As Roberts et al. (2017) explain, the descriptive analysis provides summaries about the sample and measure. In the present study, a measure of central tendencies, such as mean and mode, and measures of spread, including variance and standard deviation, will be used to describe the participants' demographic information. The descriptive statistics will be presented in tables, charts, graphics, descriptions, and explanations. As explained by Brannen (2017), descriptive statistics are very useful in visualizing data that would be difficult to interpret in raw form.
