I want to perform hypothesis testing based on this data set (https://www.kaggle.com/arashnic/the-depression-dataset). I think I can use the DEPENDENT paired two-sample t-test for this data set, but I am not sure if that's correct?

They have provided data for: control group and condition group, madrs1 (MADRS score when measurement started), madrs2 (MADRS when measurement stopped) and other categorical variables like age group, gender, marriage status, work status.

I am confused what should my null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis be?
