I.   What would you do?

1.   You overhear a conversation that sounds like your best friend is about to be fired from his job.

2.   You overhear your mother talking to her sister on the phone.  She is thinking of leaving your father.

3.   You overhear your grandmother talking to her doctor on the phone. She pretends she is well, but what you heard makes you think otherwise.
